Greenwood International Consulting Inc. (GIC) is a logistics consulting
firm specializing in capital equipment planning and acquisition
as well as move coordination for institutional organizations in
the healthcare, post-secondary education, and municipal sectors.
The company was incorporated in Alberta in 2001. Its main contributors
each have over 20 years of related experience.

and transfer of 200 military and civilian personnel (with families),
vehicles, equipment, and hazardous materials upon closure of military
base.
- Planning and coordination of moving resources for the transfer
of medical programs (125 beds) from the Holy Cross Hospital, Calgary.
- Decommissioning and disposal (including auction sale) of all
installed and moveable equipment from the Holy Cross Hospital,
Calgary.
- Coordination of logistics support for the transfer of medical
programs (60 beds) and equipment, including partial decommissioning,
from the Salvation Army Grace Women's Hospital, Calgary.
- Planning and coordination of all logistics support for the transfer
of medical programs (250 beds) and 2300 staff from the Calgary
General Hospital - Bow Valley Centre (Transition 97), to several
acute care, long-term care, and administrative sites. (Maclean's
magazine called Transition '97 "the largest operational relocation
of a healthcare facility in North America".)
